Besøket var en del av Erasmus+ programmet, der de ønsket å bli kjent med norsk yrkesfagutdanning og undervisningspraksis.

Sansovino-Obici tilbyr flere yrkesfaglige utdanningsprogram, og lærerne fikk etter ønske innblikk i våre programområder innen Bygg- og anleggsteknikk, Teknologi og industrifag, samt Transport og logistikk. I tillegg besøkte de Ringerike videregående skole for å lære mer om Reiseliv.

De ønsket også å observere engelskundervisning både på yrkesfag og studieforberedende utdanningsprogram, noe de fikk anledning til i løpet av oppholdet.

Det ble tre innholdsrike og inspirerende dager med engasjerte lærere fra en skole vi gjerne ser for oss videre samarbeid med i framtiden.

Gli allievi dell’Istituto Volterra di San Donà in rete con l’Istituto Sansovino Obici di Oderzo hanno partecipato al progetto con esperienza a Lisbona dal 27 maggio al 28 giugno. Di seguito l’articolo:

“During the month of June, ISEL welcomed five students from the ERASMUS+ program who participated in a research project in the area of Recommender Systems. Under the guidance of Professor Matilde Pato (DEI/ISEL) and Professor Nuno Datia (DEI/ISEL), the students collaborated on the validation of a new methodology based on Topic Modeling, developed as part of a master’s thesis.

The main objective of the project was to test the effectiveness of the proposed approach—Topic Modeling-Based Recommendation System—by applying it to benchmark datasets. To this end, the students analyzed different datasets, contributing to strengthening the robustness and applicability of the model.

The students involved were Alberto da Ros, Leonardo Macron, Matteo Galana, Ricardo Tonetto, and Zaid Morsi. The project was conducted with daily monitoring and access to all necessary materials, ensuring an environment conducive to collaborative learning and research. All documentation and code developed were organized in a GitHub repository, which will be made public soon.

This project also had the support of Professor Alessandro Fantoni (DEETC/ISEL) and Professor Mário Véstias, president of DEETC/ISEL.”
